A significant amount of time has passed since the Konami Castlevania franchise took so much attention as now. Among the fact that there is a new animated series of Castlevania set for Netflix after the conclusion of the original, the surprise release of Collection Castlevania Advance , and the recent return of Sastlevania: Grimoire of Souls as an Apple Arcade title, Konami certainly seems to be Investing more in the brand. So, could that mean that there is a new complete title in the cards? According to a new interview, there is always hope.
More specifically, Axios recently had the Tsutsumizaki Yota Question Tsutsumizaki of Konami, Director at Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls , via translated email. Tsutsumizaki pointed out that, although the producer of Castlevania, Koji Igarashi, left the company years ago, his Konami retreat is not related to the prolonged interval between series launches . Igarashi left Konami remarkably the same year as the last important launch of Castlevania, Stlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, in 2014.
The most important question, of course, was if Konami could make a really new castline and when. I think it depends on what our users say, Tsutsumizaki said to Axios. It is the kind of response that any developer could give to the question, especially if they are in charge of a mobile title in a long-term franchise, but still leaves the option on the table. And, as stated earlier, there is more Castlevania available at this time than in the recent past.
As noted above, Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is currently available at Apple Arcade. Apple Arcade itself is a subscription service available for Apple devices with a series of new and updated video games. The Castlevania Advance Collection is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam.
