Remedy Remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2, but not for load

If you are a remedy fan, you probably played Max Payne and his sequel when they came out, or they have fallen back and have they worked on the PC to see what the whole troubles goes. But now there will be a better way to play them, as Remedy re-reveals the two legendary Noir detective shooter Max Payne and Max Payne 2 for the new console renewal with the help of Rockstar Games.

According to an investor contribution on the REMEDY website, Remedy-Rockstar pairing fit together well as the two companies look back on a two decades of old cooperation, as Rockstar Games originally published Max Payne.

“We were excited when our many years of friends came to us at Remedy to rebuild the original Max Payne games,” says Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. “We are big fans of work that the Remedy team has created over the years, and we can not wait to play these new versions.”

Max Payne REMAKE Announced From Rockstar Games and Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake)

Remedy-CEO Tero Virtala sees the partnership similarly. “We are very pleased to work with our partners at Rockstar Games to have the opportunity to bring the history, action and atmosphere of the original Max Payne games in a new way to players.”

The two games are bundled in a single release in collection style and appear for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. It was not mentioned to bring out the remakes on recent generation consoles.

The contribution also states that the Remakes are in the “concept development” phase, which means that we are still removed from a fully playable release disc for at least one or two years, which will stow in consoles around the world. This is probably the reason why it seems to be no publication of the last generation of remakes.

This is followed by the successful launch of Remedy’s Cult Classic Remake of Alan Wake last year.
