God of War Designer rejoint Wasteland 3 Studio

God of War 3 Bonus Features - Creating Poseidon [SCE Santa Monica Studio Development Diary]

The former designer of God of War and Mass Effect Dean Rymer joined the developer of Wasteland 3, Inxile Entertainment. Although inxile entertainment was recently bought by Microsoft during the acquisition of Obsidian Entertainment, Rymer will not have the previous experience with the studio before the acquisition to compare his experience. With his experience on God of War and the Mass Effect series, Rymer brings a lot of global experience to the table and he tweeted with enthusiasm during his first day with Inxile. Wasteland 3 arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 19.

Wasteland 3 is an upcoming RPG developed by Inxile Entertainment and apparently Dean Rymer will continue its role as designer for the team. He recently declared on Twitter on his first day with the studio, “first day as a new lead combat designer @inxile_ent in books.” We look forward to seeing Rymer can help improve gameplay in the next Wasteland 3 and we are delighted that it is multiplate despite the fact that it is a title published by Microsoft.

When Inxile Entertainment was acquired by Microsoft in 2018, the founder of Inxile, Brian Fargo, said: “We could not be happier to have the support of Microsoft to allow us to continue to create the games we love. They offer us the most precious thing that a developer can have, time and resources. I am excited as I have never been before. “With the enthusiasm of the founder inxile to join Microsoft and the enthusiasm of Dean Rymer to join Inxile Entertainment, we can only imagine how positive the working environment is. We have recently discussed with the Wasteland 3 level designer, Jeremy Kopman, who talked about his thirst to release a game like their next RPG.
